Company Overview

New England Transit (NET) is a leading designer of public transportation simulation experiences on Roblox, combining entertainment and the real world. Ilias Benmokrane founded NET in 2021, and it is now a successful community with more than 10,000 members and hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. Its namesake game, Boston Bus Simulator, simulates Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) bus operations throughout Greater Boston in near 1:1 fidelity for streets and buildings, and New England Bus Simulator focuses on Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA).

Featured in media such as The Boston Globe, WHDH, WBZ-TV, and Axios, NET has been praised for its unprecedented endeavor to simulate real-world transit systems in an open-world, roleplay-focused environment.

Ilias Benmokrane

Ilias Benmokrane founded New England Transit in 2021 due to passion for realizing public transport in virtual worlds. Boston University student and public transport enthusiast since childhood, Ilias oversees game design, development, and community leadership for NET's most popular games, Boston Bus Simulator and New England Bus Simulator. He continues to manage NET's effort to deliver realistic, entertaining, and educational transit simulations on Roblox

Jarek Alexander

Logistic Lead

Jarek Alexander oversees quality control, realism, and the operational structure of NET's projects. He ensures every detail of Boston Bus Simulator and New England Bus Simulator is of the most accurate games there is, from route planning to in-game features. Jarek also leads NET's partnerships with other Roblox transit groups, developing partnerships that benefit the wider simulation community. His focus on realism and roleplay business relations has made NET one of the most recognized and respected names in Roblox transit roleplay.

Elian Izquierdo-Medina

Transit Police Lead

Elian Izquierdo-Medina directs NET's Transit Police. Introducing immersion to the roleplaying process. As Lead Of TPD, he guides systems that allow players to uphold regulation, and create live situations within NET's bus simulator games. Elian's work sees gameplay balance between realism and community engagement, enabling players to experience the transit operation beyond driving. His leadership has been shaping NET's reputation for both accuracy and interactive depth.
